We know that privacy is very important to our customers. The processing of customer personal data is necessary for us to provide our services. Our partners assess the customer's solvency and therefore the processing of personal data is a necessary part of applying for a loan.

We process the following personal information:

• Name and address
• Credit information
• Identity number
• Family situation
• Debt and Income information
• Form of residence
• Education and employer
• Citizenship
• IBAN account number (for loan payment)
  

Information provided voluntarily through the loan application. We retrieve some of the information based on your personal identity number. Our partners often also demand more comprehensive documents (eg salary slip). The request for documents is made by Telefinance or our partner.

Our right to process customer personal data

The EU's general data protection regulation requires that the controller has a legitimate basis for processing personal data and customer relationship management.

Transfer of Personal Information to a Third Party

We transfer the customer's personal information to our partners (financial institutions) in order to be able to offer loan decisions for the customers. We are also obliged to disclose the customer's personal data to the authorities if we are required to do so by law. We will only provide information that the MFI or authority in question needs on the basis of a contract or legislation.

How we process your personal information

As a general rule, your personal information is automatically verified using our software. The customer has the right to object to automatic decision-making under the EU's general data protection regulation. Unfortunately, if the customer does not accept automatic decision making, we will not be able to process the application and therefore serve the customer.

Where we process customer personal data

In principle, we process customer personal data within the EU and the EEA. If customer data is transferred outside the EU and EEA, we will take appropriate safety measures and ensure that the data is processed in accordance with applicable law.

How long we retain your personal information

We retain your personal information for as long as there is a legal basis for processing the personal information (see “Our right to process your personal information”), unless we are required by law to extend the retention period. Customer rights:
