Can I apply for a loan?

Requirements for applying for a loan:

  • No insolvency entries
  • At least 20 years old
  • Annual income at least € 12,000
  • You are Finnish citizen or have lived in Finland for at least 3 years

For how long time I can set repayment period?

Repayment period can be between 1 to 15 years

At what interest rate do I get a loan?

Our partner banks evaluate each application on a case-by-case basis and determine the interest rate on the loan based on the information you provide. With a co-applicant, the chances of a lower interest rate will increase.

Can I repay the loan faster?

You can repay all or part of your loan at any time. At no extra cost.

How much can I get a loan?

Through our service you can apply for a loan of € 1,000 - € 50,000. Based on the information you provide, our partner banks will estimate how much and on what terms they can offer a loan. With a co-applicant, it is possible to get better terms for your loan.

Does my address have to be registered in Finland?

Yes, the address must be permanently registered in Finland.

What documents do I need to get a loan?

The most important document is your most recent payslip you have received from your employer. The second document you need is the last tax return (veroilmoitus) you have received. This document shows your previous income and your assets and loans in Finland.

Can I add a co-applicant?

Yes, and adding a co-applicant always increases the chances of getting a positive answer.

How long is the loan repayment period?

You can choose the loan repayment period but it must be between 1 and 15 years.

What is refinancing?

Refinancing of loans is the repayment of a loan with a credit taken on more favorable terms. You can use this option if you have a loan or credit in Finland that you want to repay.

Is there a charge for your service and do I have to accept loan offers?

Our service is free. This is also the case if you decide not to accept loan offers. And if the offers don't suit you, you have no obligation to continue with them.

How long are loan offers valid?

Offers are usually valid for 30 days.

What is the nominal interest rate?

The nominal interest rate is the agreed interest rate payable at no additional cost.

What is the real interest rate?

The real interest rate determines the total cost of the loan as a percentage of the total amount of this liability per year. At this interest rate, we can compare offers objectively.

What affects the interest rate at which I get offers?

Very broadly understood creditworthiness, which is affected by the time of living and working in Finland, previous liabilities and solvency, the existence of assets in Finland, etc.

Can I get a loan if I have inkasso?

No, under Finnish law it is not possible to get a loan if you have a debt collection.

Can I get a loan if my name is on the default register?

No, under Finnish law you cannot get a loan in this case. Your name may be on it for 2-3 years, depending on the amount of your debt and the agreement you made. This is valid even if the loan or obligation has already been repaid.

How soon will I receive a response to my loan application?

We usually receive a response within 1 business day, but there may be exceptions.

Why did I get a negative response to my request?

Generally, you will receive a negative answer if you do not meet all the conditions for a loan or, alternatively, your creditworthiness is simply lower.
